I never understood people who enjoyed cold pizza. Just looked gross to me...

I was going to make chicken parmigiana tonight but I just was exhausted from work. So I didn't. Maybe tomorrow.

Today is Friday. Thank goodness. Weird day at work today since tonight is the Homecoming game. Half day in class, half day doing field games. So whatever. Gets us out of class. Of course tomorrow I have to chaperone the homecoming dance from 7-11, so there goes my evening... Oh well.

we never had time off for homecoming, there was a brief assembly showing off who won (the picking was done the night before) and that was about it...and all of our games had to be on saturday (no lights), and then the banquet was that night (no dancing remember). And if memory serves there were rarely football players on court (mostly basketball players since our football team was the worst in the group).

It rained this morning but stopped for the afternoon. Of course it was really windy and cold. Myself and another teacher ended up playing bocce ball with two seniors the whole time. Was actually a lot of fun to do that.

There are a few football players on the court this year if I remember correctly. Too cold to be at the game so I'm home where it is warm.

we had some rain (about the time my friend was picking me up of course), and its been windy and cool--I dont mind the cool, the wind I can do without (not going to mention what they also had a hint of in the forecast!). Had a nice dinner, ate too much as usual, but I will have some leftovers for my lunch tomorrow

now I need a nap or two.

6 inches of rain this week, then it turned cold. Mid 30's overnight tonight. 50's for highs. Furnace has been set on 58 all summer and I woke up to it running this morning. I am not ready for the cold weather. Cold = anything below 50.

The place I work is in the next town, about six miles away. One of our co-owners is an assistant coach for the high school football team. Last Friday was their Homecoming. The home team took a sound beating. Every Thursday evening, the team comes to our resturant for a team meal. This week, only a half dozen or so showed up. Usually, it was close to 30 that came. I guess that game took the fire out of the guys.

dang it was chilly this morning, think its time to harvest whats left of the herbs and call it a season.

Got my halloween decorations out, and pumpkins are on sale every where...and reese's pumpkins are on sale at the stores (one of my favorites!)

If I'm not sure what the proper way to say something is I actually tell them and say that they should ask their English teacher for the proper way. Lets them see that I'm human and don't know everything and that it is okay to ask for help. It has worked out pretty well so far.

Very chilly this morning. Headed over to Wal-Mart to pick some things up for me and also for my classes this week.

Trying to do laundry today... I really hate the on-site laundry sometimes. People treat it like it's their own personal laundry machine. I'm going to go ahead and run a load in the washer and then leave it there ALL DAY LONG! Because no one else is going to want to do laundry or anything. Went down at 9:15 am to put a load in, someone had sheets in there. They were practically dry, so they had been their for quite some time. Figured I'd go make breakfast and clean up. An hour later I go down again, they are still there! NOT YOUR PERSONAL MACHINE! So I took them out, just hoping that they aren't aholes who decided to stop my washer load because I moved stuff they left in there all night long... I hate people sometimes...

ah the joys of living in apartments! (personally never had onsite machines --always went to the laundromat and sat and watched the machines the whole time, hubby and I)....so glad to have my own machines, that I can leave stuff in for....days (weeks

) at a time

(and yes, we be all hu-man, and not perfekt, but we can try our hardest to be--especially those of us who teach, still just givin' you a hard time--remember I WAS a engrish teacher

so the a/c is off, doubt if it will be on again, now I have to make sure the furnace is clean so it can take over

Their stuff is in the same place and I only have one more load to put through the dryer. Glad I didn't wait around for them... The new place that we are looking at has machines in the units, which would be awesome.

I do try, just don't always succeed...

I'm tempted to put the furnace on, kinda cool in here...

new place? wow already have one lined up, that's great! Yeah having your own machine makes life a bit less stressful (and you dont have to worry about other people messing with your stuff or 'forgetting' they were doing laundry...how exactly do you forget---nevermind, I think I can come up with bunches of excuses).

Its supposed to get warmer as the week goes on, yesterday (and friday) were to be the coldest, so I am just persevering and putting on sweats. Though I will be looking for the flannel sheets to make sure they are clean as well as finishing up the last few sweaters I forgot (yeahyeahyeah) to wash last year (or perhaps it was the year before---

)...

guess I am on my own for dinner....hubby went out to watch the bears game at a friends.

Well sort of. We know what complex we want to live in and the type we want to get, just have to wait for one we like to come open. Then the wife can move in and I'll move in after the end of this school year. That is one of the things we like, the in apartment machines, plus they are full size. So that is awesome.

It is supposed to warm up and then get colder again this weekend. And of course I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Yay. Weddings... Sigh.

I'll make leftovers tonight. Got 4 or 5 nights worth of leftover chicken parmesan and 3 days of leftover cheeseburgers. I'm good to go.

sounds like a plan, and sounds pretty good to boot!

yeah cold, rainy and possibly frost....but might be able to get thru the whole week without having to have the furnace OR the a/c on! (thus saving a wee bit o' the gold).

made pasta for dinner, too lazy to make something more impressive.

I think it was cold today, but I'm not sure. I was only outside when it was dark. Got to school before the sun was up, left after the sun was down.

I warmed up a cheeseburger. I'll prolly warm up something different tomorrow.

I like hamburgers in general, I'd rather have a fresh one but warmed up does just fine too.

Was a bit warmer yesterday. Supposed to be cooler today. I've been too busy to notice though... Been in to school before the sun is up and left after the sun was down two days in a row... Yay...

I had a job like that once....after college I worked for a warehouse, I left home while it was dark and the sun was just thinking about hitting the far eastern horizon, and when I got off work it was pitch black---bad thing was there were no windows in the place either so for 5 days I thought it was night, and my inner clock didnt like that a whole lot. Having the sun only on weekends was very hard to deal with (good thing I only worked there for about 6 weeks!)

It was weird today to come home when it was light out. Of course I got home and went to run errands. Washed the car and picked up food for my beardie. Tomorrow after school I have a haircut. Friday I'll swing home to grab my stuff and drive up North. Yay. Busy busy...
